Who I am outside of the classroom

I love to travel...

While I love living in New England, I absolutely love to travel. My favorite childhood memories are family vacations. In college, I started solo traveling. In about a year's time, I was able to go to Spain, Ireland, London, and Greece (my bank account was not a fan, but I was!) My favorite part of London was visiting the Globe Theatre and seeing Macbeth!!

(Future) Mrs. Hamel

I am engaged and will become "Mrs. Hamel" on October 13th, 2024! We met in college in Cru, our campus Christian ministry. We spend most of our weekends going to his gigs, as he is in two bands, and spending time with friends.

I love music!

I love to play piano and sing. I taught myself in high school, and while I am no Beethoven, I can hold my own. In college, I lead a worship team and continue to worship in church at home. I also love going to concerts, especially with my best friend Sophia!
